The 20 watt Traynor head from 1967/68 is one of my favorite amps. Sweet cruchy "plexi" tone!

the 1968 Jensen Special Design 15" is not original but an upgrade none the less.






A word about the Traynor YBA-II 20 watt head.
This is one of the best amps ever made IMHO.
Big low end, crisp and crunchy when cranked with
great note definition and power from a pair of 6v6s.
The later EL84 (6BQ5) model is not as desirable in my opinion.
Even better than the 20 watt head is the tube rectified
Bass Mate 1x15 Combo from 1966 which is also pictured below.
The tube rectified model is a monster tone amp at a reasonable volume.  Why these aren't at least $1000 is beyond me but I'm glad they are still affordable.  Get one and don't let go of it.
